Asteroid to give earth a close shave in 2029 →

On Friday, April 13, 2029, the Apophis asteroid will come within 18,300 miles of the Earth’s surface. To compare, the moon is 238,857 miles away. So after the world explodes on Dec 23rd 2012, according to one interpretation of the Mayan calendar (the wrong interpretation IMHO) will we really care ;)
